Case and punctuation are ignored.

Basic Search

Type only the terms you wish to search. Do not use Boolean operators, quote marks, or wildcards.

Singular form will find plural, e.g., cat also finds cats

When searching multiple terms the order of results is:

     1) Words as a phrase, e.g., perspective drawing

     2) All words anywhere, e.g., perspective along with drawing

Advanced Search

Type exactly what you are looking for, e.g. cat finds cat and not cats

Multiple terms are considered a phrase (except for Boolean operators), e.g., perspective drawing

Use the drop-down arrow to the left to use Boolean operators AND, OR, or NOT, or simply type the entire search string in the first box:

     cats and dogs

     cats or dogs

     cats not dogs

An asterisk (*) substitutes for one or more characters:

     architect* finds architect, architects, architecture, architectural

     wom*n finds woman, women

     *gravure finds gravure, photogravure, rotogravure

Use the drop-down arrow to the right to limit the search to terms in any field, in creator only, or in title only.
